7 New Cafes/ Restaurants at Outram Park

With many upcoming new cafes and restaurants opening the past months, we were greeted with an entire refresh of eateries in the Outram Park area. Outram Park will no longer remind us of SGH (Singapore General Hospital), but instead as a hipster- turned paradise.

Possible the best French Patisserie we had come across this year. Pastry Chef Lena Chan graduated from Le Cordon Bleu Paris and craft every single pastry 3 times a day. Bringing out the best with such fine and intricate desserts with the right level of sweetness and lightness. We were totally captivated by it.

For those who frequent Korea, Banana Tree is definitely no stranger to them. The big fluffy candy floss drinks, cute little edible flower pots and bingsu-in-a-pot. So pretty, so instagram- worthy that it had attracted so much crowd since its opening that waiting time could take up to an hour or two during peak hours.

If you are looking for Japanese inspired fusion dishes, Neon Pigeon could possibly be the place for you. This chic Izakaya style brings to you BBQ and smoked plated with alcohol pairing. Note that their Big portion can be a little small if you are going in a big group. All in all, we enjoyed the food there as much as the prompt service given.

Offering a seasonal produce, the kitchen constructs a short menu of about 25 items daily that primarily rely on our wood-fired oven which burns applewood all day long. Oh, it can get a bit smokey indoors.
