Fatcat Ice Cream Bar – New Menu Relaunch!

Fatcat Ice Cream Bar, should not be an unfamiliar name for its highly known for the charcoal black waffle with LIU SHA. It has recently launched a new menu with more visually appealing plated desserts, and made more sweet for many with the appearance of an eye candy during the media tasting!

First up, we have the lime mojito and green tea bailey spheres, that explodes and melts in the mouth. A note here, pop it in the shortest possible time for the explosive effect!


Next up, Kyoho Dreams ($18) Boy, are we impressed by how detailed this dessert is prepared and planned in 3 stages: comprises of a Pre, Main and Post.


Pre: Wine Grape Spheres

The wine grape spheres cleansed and refreshed the palate for the MAIN – Grape tartare with shiso, lime salt and grapefruit sorbet.


Tom yum granita with a sour punch from the lemongrass for the post-dessert.

Lychee Martini ($16) – a spin-off from this classic cocktail. Slice open the white chocolate dome to discover the cherry yogurt and lichi within. A very brilliant recreation we say!


This reverse smores was one of my favorite! Simple looking but the torched marshmellow with banana chunks and ice cream within will keep you going for more.

And the highlight of the new menu certainly goes to: CHOCOLATE JARDIN

Here’s the Pre: Yogurt Bon Bon & Truffle Mochi, we loved the soft, pillowy and chewy mochi with the hint of truffle

Don’t the green and brown makes it resemble that of a chocolate garden! Green matcha, brown chocolate soil with seasonal fruit sorbet and edible flowers. Too PRETTY to eat!

In all, FatCat serves creative plated desserts at a reasonable price and detailed attention has been paid (Pre/Main/Post) to each dessert. Really meticulous and effort lah! Could plan to head east to Percolate and thereafter, FatCat for a gastronomical and visual dessert feast. hehe.
